A new opportunity has become available for a Lead Clinical Nurse to join an established practice located in Bristol, Avon.

This practice are looking for a qualified nurse to fulfil the role of Clinical nurse leader, to be at the forefront of supporting and nourish new nurses to flourish at the clinic. The role will include working closely with the Practice manager and owner to support patients and the team of clinicians at the practice

Start date - as soon as possible.

This role is to work full time, Monday - Friday (No weekends or Bank holidays)
Working hours - 40 hours per week.

To be successful in this role you must be passionate about great quality dentistry and patient care.
As a nurse leader, you will lead the areas of compliance pertaining to the clinical side of the clinic these will include:
• Infection prevention and control
• Waste management
• Equipment management
• Emergency procedures
• COSSH
As nurse leader you would be responsible for the selection of trainee dental nurses alongside the practice manager. The role will then continue with providing support to team member of all the clinical aspects they need to learn as a trainee dental nurse role, whilst supporting and planning their learning time to be successful in qualification.

Person Specification and essential criteria:
· Dental Nursing qualification
· Current GDC registration
. Indemnity
. Radiography qualification desirable not essential
· Ability to put patients at ease and to be able to read patients body language
· Well-presented with the ability to interact with patients confidently, creating a great patient experience
· A natural communication style, confident communicator
· Well-organised and attention to detail
· Confident with using a variety of computer applications
· Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and securely

Salary - £15 per hour
